This weekend is the
Annual Plant Swap and Native Plant Sale!
Plant Swap this Sunday, June 26,
2 p.m.
Our
annual plant swap is a great way to clear that garden of plants you
can't possibly throw away...but also, you can't fit anything new and
exciting in the garden either. Just dig something from your garden that
you know someone else will love and bring it along. Thanks to
enthusiastic swappers, we always have hundreds of plants to choose
from. We also always dig a few interesting things out of our garden
just to spice things up. Come enjoy the company of other gardeners
along with some delicious refreshments to help get through the heat.
This year, we're doing a lottery system, so get here at 2 p.m. and get
your number. Swapping starts at 2:15. At the same time, enjoy the...
Native Plant
Sale for a Cause
This
week is Virginia Pollinator Week & not that all good
pollination
plants are native, most native plants are good pollination plants.
Natives grow happy here in Virginia
because it's home. And we're
putting all our natives on sale this weekend at the farm. All natives
plants in all pot sizes are 30% off this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
only. As we did last year, we're donating 10% of the weekend's sales to
the Piedmont Environmental Council, one of our favorite local
non-profits. Now's the time to Nativize your garden!
